At the same time, I also made a piece of production music for a showreel from the Digital Designer I had worked with previously, the general brief for this was for the music to be very commercial. “The sort of thing you would hear on generic advertisements on YouTube” to quote directly from Farah Ishaq. I was asked to make about 5 minutes of music in total, and the rest would be done using repeating parts of my music.

The track that I produced for the project ended up being used in some promotional content further down the line, making it into a promotional instagram video published by Guildhall to promote the acting department of the school

As part of a production music project, I was able to make music based around libraries and syncing to visual elements in a commercial manner. I submitted a brief for the project by saying I wanted to make music influenced by UK artists like Knucks and Saiming, taking inspiration from genres like Drill and Jazz based hip-hop.
