The Bat Night Market project in collaboration with LIFT festival was created as a way of telling the story of many species of bats, with us as soundscape artists tasked with making bat focused soundscapes using recorded bat noises from a conservation.

I decided to go full in with the bat noises, and did not use any other sounds apart from those recorded by the conservatory in my soundscape. This meant layering bat sounds and seeing where they should fit in the stereo field and in the room, creating an immersive experience for visitors.
